Q: QuestionIn looking over the questions and answers on this forum I see that some answers say this phone can be used on Verizon and other other answers say it can't be used on Verison. Can the phone be used on Verizon or not???

• A:Answer I am currently with Verizon waiting for my 2 year contract to expire. When my husband I purchased these phones in October we didn't know who the provider was until we received the phones, we noticed they were AT&T phones. The two are not compatible because AT&T is on the GSM network and Verizon is on the CDMA network. We were planning to switch to AT&T anyway, so it worked in our favor. However, if you're planning to stay with Verizon this phone will not work. Im not sure if Best Buy sells this paticular phone model from various carriers, but you may want to call Best Buy's customer service to make sure before purchasing.

• A:Answer Although all are unlocked, some are branded to AT&T, some to T-Mobile. All will work on any GSM network. If you want to use T-Mobile, get one that's branded to T-Mobile, because those have wi-fi calling capability selectable in wi-fi setup menu. Others lack that feature.
