• Yes. Galaxy Gear smartwatch is now compatible with the S4 and S3 as well as the Note 2.

• Yes, any Galaxy S3 or S4 will work with the new Samsung watch! I was told this during my last visit to my local Best Buy store by the associate working in the Samsung section. Hope this helps!

• Eventually, yes. Samsung has said they will make it compatible. Currently, no. It will eventually come, but will require an update to your phone.
