Only if you want to buy another phone. It is not water proof and it does have a moisture indicator under the battery to notify tech people the phone has been wet.

Of course you can! You can submerge any phone in water. But will it survive? That's quite another question. Basically, no. Samsung puts some waterproofing on their devices, but it's preventative, not for just sitting in the pool. It basically will protect your phone for a minute in the water one time. The Galaxy S4 active is made for that however.

i wouldnt recom any phone in water reguardless of what any company claims
