• You can setup a new plan without porting a number if you select the NEXT plan. The major cell companies are no longer accepting NEW 2-year contracts, as they are phasing them out for the more cost-effective Installment Billing options.

• You only port a number when you change carriers. Keep the carrier and the number is your forever.
