• They are brand new. The s6 is coming soon so they always do good deals on the last years models.

• chances are it will be a refurb, which contrary to what most people will claim, there is no difference between used and new. I personally have actually had better experiences with refurbs than new. Usually once a phone is 8 months old (8 months after release date), most of the ones left are refurbs, after about 18 months, main OS updates stop coming in due to end of life for the phone model.

• In store they only carry new phones. If you are getting it online it should be labeled as refurbished.
