I was a little skeptical at first about the screen protector that comes with the phone. But I'm a plumber in Tampa and my phone gets banged around pretty good and I have the OtterBox Defender on mine with the screen protector that came with it and it works great. If something does happen to the screen they can replace it. I hope this helps you with your question
