• Depending on your carrier. I have att and you can keep your number, pay activation and enjoy your phone. Not sure if that is what you are asking.

• When you buy the phone you get one for free with the activation of a new line. However your bill with be MASSIVE for 3 months and then it will be credited back to your bills during the 4th billing cycle.
