“I've seen quite a bunch of reviews that say the battery life only last part of the day. Is this true?”

Depends the use during the day ,but it does last the whole day

My S22 has about 50% battery life left at the end of a long day if I charge it to 100% on my wireless charger each evening. I don't do a lot of streaming on my S22; I use my Samsung tablet for that. I have not tried to set the charge limit to 85% charge, but I may change the settings to do so.
