“I'm getting for AT&T. I noticed on the bands supported list, for 4G and 5G, the list is significantly less than the list AT&T provides. Is this the same phone, or a variant that has reduced support? I can only hope it's just a mis-type.”

If you selected AT&T at checkout, then you’re getting the AT&T version and will have all the same bands.
