- Answer Factory unlocked. I brought my own sim card from my current carrier and I plan to use the E-sim slot for a data packeage from a South American Carrier in Argentina.

- Answer You'll need a screen protector and it doesn't hurt to have a case as well. You're correct in that the phone is more durable when dropping but you sacrifice some scratch resistance.

- Answer I love otterbox commuter series, this phone has G glass on both sides but you can get an additional GLASS protector, not a film self adhesive for like 15 bucks just scroll down the page it's right there
