  • QuestionThis is an unlocked phone: 1) can this be used anywhere in the world by changing the sim card? 2) can my current sim card for Galaxy S9+ be used in this phone (Galaxy S23 FE)? If not, what is the process?

    Asked by Anna.

    • Answer Do you need to know what the carriers of your Sim card are? Then find this on the Specifications of this phone: Carrier Compatibility: AT&T, Boost Mobile, Cricket, Google Fi, H2O Wireless, MetroPCS, Mint Mobile, Simple Mobile, Sprint, T-Mobile, Ultra Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon My sim card carriers are H2O Wireless, so I bought it and it works as soon as I plug in the sim card. But will other carriers, such as Verizon, work? I haven't tried it yet, need to ask people who use Verizon Sim cards. Because H2O Wireless is GSM networks and Verizon is CDMA networks, I bought an unlocked phone before, and it only worked with GSM Sim cards, not worked in CDMA Sim cards. Or is this phone now compatible with both networks? Be careful to ask clearly. What networks are the carriers of my Sim card? It can be found online. For example, AT&T, H2O Wireless, and T-Mobile are GSM networks. Verizon is a CDMA network.
