From experience, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 can be a little harder to read in direct sunlight, but it is not impossible. That can be fairly common with most mobile phones though. A screen protector could potentially help limit the amount of glare while outside, especially a protector with anti-glare. I hope that helps!
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a Droid Razr Maxx and had the same problem. This is not an issue with the Samsung GS4 - I like the screen much better....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not. The display and glasses are both polarized so the screen will look very dim or black with your sunglasses on. Look for the auto-dimming setting and turn it off when on the water. That may help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I can!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I take it your glasses are polarized right, this phone is easier to see with polarized glasses I have some my self and find that a lot of the phone screens you cannot see well with these on and that's cause the screens try to be anti glare so it counteracts the glasses lenses although the colors look weird at times depending on the angle I find this phone and the htc 8x windows phone the easiest ones to see even when wearing these glasses, what I do at times is bring my glasses with me and look at the live units with and with out them. If there something on the screen without and then with it magically disappears than its no good to us. Hope this helps:)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One of the draw backs to this phone is the screen outdoors in bright sunlight, It will require some hand shading to view the screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
