• I tried that but I had to get on the payment plan but after it is set up your can pay off the phone and enjoy not being under contract, which should reduce your bill by $20

• That is what I did, but you have to sign a 2 year contract and it takes about and hour or more to do that.

• Yes. You can purchase the phone outright. Best buy has a month to month plan option on Verizon

• Yes you can as long as you sign up for a new two year agreement.
