This is a great question, Csuri94. While this phone isn't exactly waterproof, it is water-resistant. The phone is water-resistant in up to 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. You are able to rinse off residue but you have to be sure to dry it off after it's been wet. I hope you find this helpful.
