• The $27 per month is for the physical phone only. The monthly service fee still applies. We pay $130 per month for a shared 32GB data plan, with unlimited calls and texts. I am now paying $27 per month on top of that for my Galaxy S6, but I no longer have a 24 month contract in place. So if I want to walk away from Sprint 6 months from now, I pay what is left on the phone and it is mine to keep when I move to my new carrier. :-)

• Yes the $27 is in addition to your monthly service data and coverage fees. You are basically getting a phone for $0 down, 0% interest with your good credit. You are financing the phone for free in addition to whatever smartphone plan you choose. Hope you pick the plan that works best for you. Good Luck.

• Yes, but you do get a slight discount on your service. I think it's about $10.

• Yes, I believe so. You only pay the additional amount until you pay off the phone, or you trade it in when you're eligible for an upgrade and then (I'd assume) the 'same rules' apply.
