“I have the S5 and want the S7. I have a memory card or chip on my S5 can I move the card / chip to my S7 or do I have to purchase another newer chip for the S7?”

Memory can be moved. Otherwise, the phone comes with a SIM card to be activated on your carrier network.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on the SD card you were using in your S5. Mine was a Class 10 32 GB SD Card that I decided was big enough to stay with. The issues are the read/write speed of the SD Card and if it is big enough to satisfy your needs on the new phone (which will utilize much larger SD cards than the S5 would). You could go as large as a 256 GB SD, but only 200 GB of it will be useable.
