“What is difference between a locked vs. unlocked phone besides 1) slow updates which I really don't care about and 2) preloaded Verizon apps which I hate, never use and can never remove? My concern is around wifi calling and texting. Can that be done?”

• This is my first unlocked phone. So far I have not noticed anything I cannot do with this phone after about 1 month. It does not come with any Verizon apps, you can install it if you like. But i do not miss any of them so far.
