- Answer When doing online shopping, Best Buy gives you the option of choosing someone else to pick the product on your behalf as long as they can provide ID. So if you are thinking of taking this route, feel free to do so.

- Answer Activation would be priced lower then unlocked as it entails getting a new phone line with ot without data is your choice you should enquiry term and conditions if its not a contract sometime works out cheaper and you can get the phone unlocked form the provider you chose

- Answer Are you getting an unlocked phone? I can only answer for unlocked. That is what I bought. I pulled the sim card out of my old Verizon Motorola Maxx, plugged it into my new S8 and that was it. I didn't change the service provider and no activation fee was involved. Insert sim card and Go. My old Motorola is now a very nice machine that works just great on Wi-Fi, just can't call or text with it.

- Answer Not sure, but I do know that with the unlocked version I, happily, do not have all those AT&T useless apps that can't be deleted, or moved to the SD card. The one feature I'm missing is WiFi calling. Other than that I love my unlocked phone, and saving ~$150+ is very, very cool.

- Answer Charles, did you have a ongoing account with Metro PCS? I can only offer my experience. - Answer Don't buy unlocked, unlocked phones give you the freedom to switch service providers at anytime on any at work. Go through the Sprint portion of Best Buy and by the phone with the Sprint settings already pre-installed

- Answer Universal unlocked S8 is probably what you want. Best buy usually has two prices on the website. Cheapest price is with a carrier, more expensive is without any carrier. Phone I purchased is universal unlocked and works great with a no name carrier. Best buy website has a great explanation of universal unlocked vs just an unlocked phone.
