You should be able to upgrade to a new phone after 12 months because your phone is already paid off. 64 GG is the max storage but you can insert a mini-SD card.

But if you own the phone outright that may be different. I guess as long as you keep buying phones at full price you could probably upgrade anytime, no idea what they'd charge you for that beyond the price of a new phone though. As far as the SD card, yes it has that. As a matter of fact Best Buy is giving away a 256 gb card with the phone, at least for pre-orders.
