Yes, I am grandfathered into a really old but great plan. I got this as an upgrade to my S4 and I am currently doing a 30 month pay ment plan with same contract I've had for many years. Best buy can move your number to new phone in-store, and you don't have to go to AT&T to do so. Just remember if you get on the 24 month payment plan you can up grade then with just having to pay for the new phone but if you do the 30 month plan then decide to up grand at the 24 month, you are still on the hook for the remaining amount you owe on the phone. So that means you are still paying off the old phone while acuring a new cost which you now have to pay. Hope this help.
