You don't have to change to a new plan to get a new phone. You can purchase it outright but they put it into a 24 month installment plan and give you a $10 per month credit. So basically whatever the phone's full price is minus $240.00. The $10 per month credit is for keeping your current plan. I've been told you can also just pay off the phone early if you want. You don't have to lease it if you don't want to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am also on an old plan, with an s4. The new plans are all leases which won't work for a buy and hold person like me. Sprint wants $800 upfront to own the phone. Other carriers have better options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You'll need to "upgrade" your plan to something Sprint currently offers. I was refused a contract renewal for a grandfathered plan 2 weeks ago.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your plan has nothing to do with what you pay for the phones. It's the same for everyone. So you just have to go to the Sprint page or Best Buy and see the prices and that is what you pay.
