I had the S7 edge and replaced it with the s8 plus. I think they have a similar curve, but the s8 has rounded corners at the top and bottom. While the 2 screens are similar I like the s8 much better.

Yes I had th S6+ and it is basically the same size phone. The vertical screen are of the phone is larger. If you have the regular S6 this phone is a lot larger.

If you are speaking of visuals they are almost the same.

Yes, the S8 is similar to the S6 in the aspect that they screen is curved. Samsung has improved the screen by using Gorilla Glass that is 40% stronger than the glass of the S6.
