• The trade-in requires the unlimited plan (if on Verizon). Your monthly bill will be significantly higher.

• You can trade your S6 in at any Best Buy for a gift card or lower your monthly payment by trading in to Verizon

• The answer to this is not a straight forward one, because it depends on things like the condition of the device, and whether or not you will have to send your phone back to the carrier, or if you own it outright, and will be able to keep it. If you own your phone outright, and it still powers on, charges, and doesn't have any major physical damage, you should be able to get a trade in credit for the device. The exact amount of the trade in can vary, because it is dependent on an inspection of the device to determine it's condition. If you trade the phone in to Best Buy, the value would be given to you as a Best Buy gift card.
