It has a lot of features which I haven't even began to explore, but my favorite feature is the camera. It also let's you shoot in RAW. I was really surprised to get such greay fireworks photos grom hNd holding this camera. Just set it on auto & it does the rest. You can even review the camera settings after you take a pic.

Really solid phone that does what it should

I have always pushed for better value phones but when this one was cheap enough and I didn't have a better option I reluctantly bight the S8. I have been really happy. TouchWiz is no longer laggy, the phone looks great, takes good pictures, and runs whatever I need it to. I really push the phone and it's battery still lasts.the fingerprint reader is annoyingly placed but I have gotten used to it and it is not an issue. The only concern is the bixbie button (which I can now disable) but the volume keys are now hard to reach. Not worth docking a star though. This really is a great phone.

Samsung's new personal assistant, Bixby, takes a bit of getting used to but it is incredibly valuable once you complete the learning curve. The screen quality is the most beautiful I have seen on a phone yet. The storage space (64GB) is insane and adding a memory card makes it feel like you can have storage that won't run out. I do miss the physical home button that the Galaxy series has become known for, though. The Best Buy exclusive blue color is a nice, light shade of blue that is understated but still sleek and noticebale.

- A:Answer You simply go into Best Buy and at the door just let them know you're looking to get an s8 for verizon. The mobile department will take care of everything for you. They will activate the phone and will be able to transfer contacts,photos, and videos from the previous phone to the new one.

Q: QuestionI Use Verizon. I want to get the samsung S8. Best Buy sale is $300 off the retail price of $724.99. I'm confused on what the monthly payment will be because in one place it says $17.50 a month for 24 mths and in another place it. Says $30 a mth.??

- A:Answer The $30 per month is on the full cost of $749 (or whatever the exact is), not on the sale price. The promo discount will take the monthly cost down to the $17.50, provided you want them to apply the $300 to your phone cost with Verizon. The $300 is actually on a BBY gift card, so you could also do a $30/month payment with Verizon and use the $300 in Best Buy for other stuff. This is going off of exactly what I just did upgrading my Galaxy S6 to the Galaxy S8.

- A:Answer Yes and no. If you purchase directly in full through a best buy charge account. Then you will owe just best buy the full retail of the phone. And no if you are attempting to get the trade In promo with Verizon. You would need to trade in your device and that will give you a monthly bill credit to help get your retail price down in turn you will pay Verizon monthly cost of the purchase at best buy.
