“Will the unlocked version get updates like the ones from carriers?”

• As you must have read in the ratings and throughout this Q&A that Samsung has been slow in updates to the unlocked US version's of the S7 phones. Hopefully they improve on this. The carriers have nothing to do with OTA updates, it's Samsung who will handle it.
