If I buy the UNLOCKED phone now, can I install the Verizon SIM later to use on their network? The Verizon locked phone is $800 and the unlocked is $720. I'd rather pay less AND have it unlocked to install my own apps (that would void the warranty) null

It's my understanding that all of Verizon's phones are now unlocked. I suggest calling them to confirm but did and was told by both Verizon and then by Apple ( I was looking at an iPhone at the time) that all Verizon phones are 100% unlocked.

Yes, both the SIM for Verizon prepaid or postpaid plans will work
