Q: QuestionDoes anyone know if Best Buy and/or Verizon include Samsung's Premium Care in their contract? I saw that if you buy from Samsung direct you get this (wanted or not) for an extra $11.99 month without realizing you are signing up for it.

• A:Answer No one is forcing you to take the care plan, you can the phone without any care plans. Samsung gives you the option for their care plan or non care plan. As there are 3 selections from their website. Now Verizon has its own care plan and Best Buy has its own as well. Just don't select them if you don't want it.

• A:Answer In Store Only Galaxy S9 you get $50 off, over 24 month period, unless you ordered it the first day off of the offer. If you preordered on the first day you will get $100 over a w4 month period. Now, if you pre-order in store you get, over a 24 month period, $50 off on Galaxy S9 and $100 off Galaxy S9+. If you are doing it with a Verizon Plan you will also get an additional $350 off if you Trade In a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+. Lesser phones will get you less money. Check out the Trade In price on Best Buy eligibility list online. Verizon Customers I suggest you Pre-order in store and opt to have the new Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+ shipped to you or an address you feel safe having it delivered. Absolutely no reason to wait on line at store on release day when you can have it shipped to you and will arrive on the release date. In the box it was shipped will be a prepaid return label. You place your Trade In in the box and it will go directly back to Verizon. If the phone is in good condition (not cracked or water damaged) you can get up to $450 back which means you are getting $350 from Verizon (done over 24 months) plus Verizon will add another $50-$100 (over 24 months) if you pre-ordered at Best Buy.

• A:Answer We're long time Verizon customers and bought two to upgrade our old phones. The 1st one activated fine, with our current phone number, no problem. The 2nd one wanted us to create a new phone number. We had to call, and they activated it with our other current phone number, no problem. Hope this helps.

• A:Answer As far as I am aware, the phone should be able to be used on Straight Talk, however, I would contact Straight Talk themselves to be sure, because I know in the past there have been issues with their SIM cards not being compatible with new phones right off the bat. The other option, which would lead to more flexibility for you would be to purchase the completely unlocked version of the phone.

Q: QuestionAre there any fees for preordering? Like a down payment or something? I understand there is an upgrade fee and activation fee but I've never preordered a phone before.

• A:Answer This would be dependent on if you are required to make a down payment by the carrier, which is something that wouldn't be determined until your account is actually run either in store or through the website. If there is no down payment required, then you won't pay anything to place the order, however, when you come in to pick up the phone, you will pay the sales tax on the retail price. The upgrade/activation fee will be added to your next bill by the carrier.

• A:Answer Yes, I use WiFi all the time and have cut my data usage from 5-9 GB to less than 2 GB per month. Be sure to purchase a good VPN app though if you leave your WiFi on all the time.
