Are there any hidden fees with at&t next. null

You pay the tax on the phone upfront and either an activation fee or an upgrade fee.

There ere no hidden fees and I was able to trade in my 7 Edge and got a BestBuy promotion gift card that was going on at the time

I don’t think there is anything hidden. If you read your contract and understand how things work with your provider you will be good.
