- Answer Because sprint and other carriers upcharge the price for no reason. I'm guessing due to the lease option they figure most people wont read the fine print.

- Answer If the promotion is still available, then yes. They give you a better credit if your previous phone is a Samsung Galaxy, and is in working condition.

- Answer For Sprint at least- $9/month is with new activation, which means obviously you would have to pick a plan that you want. If you are upgrading, which I did, I got it for around $21.00/month.
