“Does my phone get activated at best buy or do I have to bring it to verizon?”

• If you purchase it in the store, the associate will activate the product and move all your files to your new phone. My experience was moving from a Samsung Galaxy S4 to a Samsung Galaxy S9.

• Best Buy can do it all. They are better than VZN Corporate anyway.

• Yes, Best Buy can activate it. However, if you are keeping a phone and adding a line to an existing phone, you will need to go to the Verizon store as Best Buy does not have sim cards to switch out.

• You should just activate it yourself. No need to have either Best Buy or Verizon do it. Wasting time in either store just contributes to longer wait times for everyone.
