• Yes it will be fully unlocked like the previous model. GSM and CDMA networks will work on the new Samsung S9 and S9+

• It's my understanding that all of Verizon's phones are now unlocked. I suggest calling them to confirm but did and was told by both Verizon and then by Apple ( I was looking at an iPhone at the time) that all Verizon phones are 100% unlocked.
