I don't have an official answer, except to say that I recently got the discounted s9 as a t-mobile customer and I believe that metro pcs is owned by t-mobile. That would make me think that the lower price would be applicable. the easiest solution and most official would be to simply contact your carrier for clarification on this issue. best of luck . . . it is a very nice phone!!
