Hello Jones, when it says the phone is unlocked it is actually talking about the carrier.Normally when you buy a phone from Verizon or any other phone carrier the phone can only be used with the carrier SIM cards that you bought it from, but when you purchase an unlocked phone it can be switched from Att for service or Verizon or any other carrier.
