It should work as well as it does with my S20, it gets me close enough that I can hear it when I ring it. S21 & up have the wide band that would be able get a better location.

With connection to the app you can track your device but would need to be within range to use features like having the device make noise to find your luggage. No. The SmartTag 2 only has a Bluetooth range of 394ft
