The SmartTag2 requires Samsung Galaxy smartphones or tablets running Android 11.0 or later with 3GB or more of free RAM (Galaxy Note20 Ultra, S21+ and Ultra, S22+ and Ultra, S23+ and Ultra, Z Fold2 and up). • SmartTag 2 only runs native on Samsung Galaxy devices. However, with the use of the uTag app (sideloaded), the SmartTag 2 can run on any Android device, provided that Samsung does not disable the uTag app. They have not yet, and it's been over a year since its release.

• The Galaxy SmartTag is compatible with Android OS 8.0 or higher.
