Why does the back get hot null

1 main reasons: This is where the battery is located. As you are charging it (or discharging it while playing) you are using energy. Part of that energy comes off as heat. While this is typical, you will need to be careful as over time heat will damage the battery.

Using unit for extended periods of time create heat. If you have a home computer, it has fans that cool system down with out you knowing, also laptops you add fans under to cool. Take a break and let unit cool a bit. :)
