Just bought new 65" smart tv. On the Galaxy, just typed in "Watch tablet on TV" It brought up step by step how to do it. Worked immediately.

Most mirroring compatibility issues are dependant on your tv. I've found the most satisfactory solution is to use a Google Chromecast dongle.
One key requirement, whether using Chromecast or not, is that your phone and tv must be connected to the same wifi network.

I know the one way I do it is through google chromecast. I bought the chromecast device when I bought my tablet. Now through the google play apps, I can control streams onto my tv via my galaxy tab.
