• Yes you can download the Kindle app and the Nook as I have both on machine and get there free books from join BookBub.com today some are free some are couple bucks so far most of the ones I got free or pad the 99 cents were pretty good

• Yes you can ! You can either do a preview download before purchase or on your amazon account, you can barrow the free books every so often (I forgot how long the cycle is, 1-2 months at a time, perhaps?).
