Tablets are available with three different operating systems -- Android, iOS, and Windows -- and each is designed to be as first-time-user friendly as possible. If you own a non-Apple smart phone, then Android tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 would provide an experience similar to your phone's interface. If you've used Mac computers in the past, iPad models would be the most similar. If you're used to the layout found on Windows-based PCs, then Windows tablets like Microsoft's Surface would provide the closest comparable experience.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1: Just bought one of these for my wife that strictly uses a pc/laptop for facebook. Installed Puffin Browser so that she could access flash sites/flash facebook games. She hasn't touched a regular pc/laptop since. You will love this device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The tab 4 10.1 is my first tablet and I'm not having too much trouble figuring it out
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recommend the regular galaxy tab. (This one). The tab s and pro have more options and do more things. They are also more powerful, which is great, but not necessary for a beginner.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a smart phone already, I would get whatever is closest to the smart phone. I have 3 galaxy phones and 2 galaxy tablets. Other than a few differences because of model and what version of android they are running, they are pretty much the same. Programs show up and run the same on all and can easily be synced between all of the products if that is the way you choose to use them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think either the Samsung Galaxy 4 tablet which I just bought or the Apple which my daughter and son use. I have used both and with a very short amount of help, either is easy to use. The cost difference was the deciding factor for me. Also, the Best Buy that I go to has a Samsung rep on site and I have gone in twice for a little help.
