“USB port When I was in the store I asked about a USB port on either the Galaxy Note or the Galaxy Tab4 and was told none of the tablets have them, yet the Galaxy Tab 4 product specs says there is one. Is there one? Can I use it to hook up to a printer? Also, is there a 'book case' app that can be put on any of the android notepads that can be used by both Nook and Kindle so I don't have to have two different book shelves to jump between?”

Yes it has a USB port on the bottom edge
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has a micro-usb port. With an adapter purchased separately, it can hook up to a standard USB. I have not tried to use this for printing since I have e-print capable printer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Galaxy Tab4 does not have a USB port, it's possible one of the Bluetooth keyboards somehow allows one but I doubt it. You may be able to still use the tab with a printer however if your printer is on a wireless network that your tab connects too. There is no built in bookcase app but you could potentially download one from the play store.
