A:AnswerGood Question you should be able too since the Tab 3's worked well however my Tab 3 is 8 inch screen and the Tab 4 i bought is 7 inch. not sure if size of the tablet matters or not. I'm fairly confident if the chip reader works with previous android Tablets especially the Tab 3's then it should work with the Tab 4's.
