• I can and do. I've only tried one podcast player on it (podcast addict) and it works well for me. Watch your storage limitations (see my review under TravelinDog). Been using both earphones and Bluetooth and happy with the performance.

• Yes. I use Stitcher app. You can access and store podc asts from almost any source including radio or web sites. I like John Batchelor and Dennis Prager.

• Absolutely...they'll end up in a local folder in memory after you select the podcasts from the browser. They can be played back from there. If you're planning to download lots of media files, you might want to consider extending the memory by adding a microSD card (up to 32GB can be added).

• We bought it as a gift and my sister is not text savvy she is absolutely in love with that and his doing a great job with the galaxy it seems to be very very easy for her to operate which is a very good strong point for people over the age of 60
