When I first got it I charged it to 100% before ever turning it on, per instructions. Since then I've been recharging when it gets down to about 20% and it takes a couple of hours. I use it several hours a day, but haven't been using it for streaming or movies, and I'm recharging after 3 to 5 days depending on usage. I love this pad and the s-pen.
