They're called open box because they are returned items. They might have cosmetic damage, or they might not.. other than that, it's like brand new!

Please try again later.Open box could be a display model that is in excellent condition or is a return item from a person who got the tab A model (WiFi only) not the one with sim card slot or maybe they wanted the other A model with the pen 8 inch or 9.7 inch Also people return it to trade it for a better or bigger model paying the difference...so nothing is wrong with the device but if you see something wrong on a open box item scratch scuff etc talk to customer service tell them this is an used item and want a discount
