• They're called open box because they are returned items. They might have cosmetic damage, or they might not.. other than that, it's like brand new!

• Open box could be a display model that is in excellent condition or is a return item from a person who got the tab A model (WiFi only) not the one with sim card slot or maybe they wanted the other A model with the pen 8 inch or 9.7 inch Also people return it to trade it for a better or bigger model paying the difference...so nothing is wrong with the device but if you see something wrong on a open box item scratch scuff etc talk to customer service tell them this is an used item and want a discount
