• A:Answer You can use a stylus with Tab A but if you're talking about the S pen this one is not compatible. They do make a Tab A that is compatible with the s pen in both the 8 inch and 10.1 inch sizes. Try searching for this model number: SM-P580NZKAXAR

• A:Answer You can text using this tablet. You will just need to download a texting app from Google play, or from the Apple store. This particular tablet is Wi-Fi capable only. But it does come in 4G.
