Q: QuestionDoes it have a SIM card slot?

• A:Answer yes. check your package, mine came with a pull out pin thing that helps to take out the slither of a cover for the sd card. i had a hard trouble getting the stupid thing out, but once i did i was happy. then you can just use your usb cord to transfer files to and from your device and computer.

• A:Answer Don't know about Nook shop as I don't use it. For books I use BookGorilla.com, Book Bub and FreeBooksey. Some of the books list Nook for downloading. You could try looking in Play Store. I do like my new 10.1 tablet though. I had an 8" Tab A that I liked, but it got dammaged and I upgraded to the 10:.
