The battery length is not too bad. However, it depends mostly on how bright the screen is, what you are using it for, etc. On a full charge, I can browse chrome and read novels for about 8 hours straight with more than 50% of the battery still available. However, I was mostly using this with the screen brightness set to 45% and switch between reading mode and normal mode depending on the lighting and activity. While watching High Resolution videos on YouTube or other applications, the battery tends to drop a bit quicker. While watching a 30 mins video on YouTube, the battery dropped by 2%-4%. It is decent for casual use but I can't say much in terms of games (never downloaded android game on the tablet). Regarding the Touch ID, there are no fingerprint scanner on this tablet so no Touch ID. However, for the price, this tablet is excellent for casual use. If you are looking for more battery efficient and graphic power, I suggest going for a more expensive model like the Tab S2 or the cheaper tablet made by NVIDIA.
