A:AnswerLithium Ion batteries are very stable already and can function correctly for years without fully discharging them and then recharging them. In fact the "experts" say that you should never fully discharge your batteries as that's when trouble can ensue. They may not recharge again if they are drained fully. I usually set my tablet up right out of the box and then plug it in and fully charge it.
