All plans change almost daily with Verizon, prepay or contract, and by service area. You do best to contact your local Verizon to find the plans available today. Best Buy has a much better protection through Geek Squad than the Verizon plan in my area, but again you need to check with your local Verizon to get the best bang for your buck. Check on deductible, price, and if service is by mail or drop off. READ the conditions and exclusions, and get a copy before making your selection. I am clumsy, so I went for a plan covering accidents, too. For one tablet that was just $25 as it was a previous version, there was no need for a protection plan, in my opinion, as the protection exceeded the price of the phone in three months and the deductible was more almost the price I paid. When my other tablet was $500ish, I bought the protect to protect my investment, as I use the tablets as part of my job.
