• It can be used to edit documents. You can use Onenote, Powerpoint, and nearly all of the Microsoft Office Apps.

• I believe there is a 30 day trial available with the app. You can purchase a 1 year subscription to Microsoft Word or link the app to a Microsoft account you already have and be able to open older doc files and edit saving them in a docx format.
